Student Government Association

“Start by doing what is necessary; then do what’s possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible.” ~St. Francis of Assisi

Welcome to the Student Government Association Website and thanks for visiting! SGA’s main purpose is to help you, the student, in any way possible. We are here to listen to your praises and complaints about the college. We constantly work to support the creation of more clubs and fund them to the best of our ability. It is our goal to help add to the vibrant, diverse community of students that are proud to say they attend St. Francis College.

The SGA is the voice and advocate of every student at St. Francis College. We are committed to enhancing the entire student experience and promoting the image of the College and its students by holding ourselves to the highest standards, leading with integrity and selflessly serving the College community and beyond.

About

The Student Government Association (SGA) is comprised of four executive officers; President, Vice-President, Speaker of SACOR and Treasurer, and the senators. A Speaker of the senate is appointed by the SGA to assist with the planning of meetings, events and daily responsibilities. The Senate is a group of selected individuals who help deliver student problems and issues to the executives and administration, represent the voice of each and every single student on campus, promote events and activities, and assist the SGA executive officers.
