Americans with Disabilities Act
In accordance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and all applicable federal, state and city disability laws, the St. Francis College Office of Accessibility and Accommodations ("OAA") is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to students who have a qualifying disability in order to ensure they have equal access to the College’s courses, programs, activities and facilities.
OAA engages in an interactive process with each student, and reviews requests for reasonable accommodations on an individualized, case-by-case basis according to the documented need and the prevailing standards for reasonable accommodations. Students with documented qualifying disabilities who wish to request reasonable accommodations must complete the accommodation request form and documentation process by clicking on our Accommodation Request Link. Our office will review your request and contact you for an appointment. Accommodations and services are provided through the St. Francis College Office of Accessibility & Accommodations.

The office is also committed to promoting awareness of disabilities and access and serving as a resource to all members of our community.
Confidentiality
The records you provide to St. Francis College in relation to your disability are confidential. Disability-specific information will only be revealed to your academic team when there is an educational need to know. Accommodation letters do not contain disability-specific information, unless it is essential to the delivery of appropriate accommodations.
